THE RETREAT
Staying on in a cabin tucked away in the forest, McCall Retreat Center is one of the most community driven lands we have been on. Immersing ourselves deep within nature, we will spend 4 days together in McCall hosting our production while you get to fine tune your photography skills and craft while building your portfolio. We have the best of the best vendors designing table scapes, bridal photoshoots, couples shoots and detail and flat lay moments as well as evening photography.
We have it all lined up for you from the moment you arrive.. From magical nights in the forest having a fire with creatives. To dinner under the stars at The Retreat McCall.. Productions overlooking the lake and in the trees, rock textures and sunsets— we have it all ready for you to join in.
Four nights accommodation at the incredible McCall Retreats, a 16 bedroom hotel just for us nestled in the pine trees just 10 minutes from downtown McCall.
You will each get your own room and have the option to bring a friend to share a room with you giving you both a discount on the original price.
All meals will be provided by the X with access to snacks we will provide as well!
If you are traveling outside of Boise, you will be arriving into the Boise Airport where you will then be driving 2.5 hours up the river to McCall. When you arrive to the Cabin in McCall, there will be plenty of parking

Paige Johnston is the creative force behind Wildflower and a grounding presence whose work invites connection, reflection, and creative awakening. With more than a decade of floral design experience, she approaches her craft with both intuition and precision—guided by color, form, and the subtle language of flowers.
For this workshop, Paige will lead and inspire a ceremonial experience in florals, using nature as a pathway to healing, presence, and creative spark. Her philosophy is simple: flowers are not just objects of beauty—they are alive. They carry emotion, memory, and energy. In Paige’s hands, each stem becomes part of a larger ritual, an atmosphere that lingers long after the moment has passed.
Through Wildflower, Paige creates more than arrangements. She curates experiences of beauty—spaces that hold ceremony, grounding, and joy, reminding us of our innate connection to nature and our own creative essence.
Chantal Steele is the founder and creative force behind Steele Oaks, a luxury wedding planning and event production studio known for its refined aesthetic and seamless execution. With over a decade of experience producing elevated celebrations, Chantal blends strategic planning, thoughtful design, and high-touch client service to create events that feel effortless, intentional, and visually compelling.
This one-time workshop brings Chantal’s production-driven approach to life through thoughtfully designed vignettes created exclusively as elevated backdrops for the Photography education experience led by Jenny Losee. Attendees will gain rare, behind-the-scenes access to how top-tier planners and photographers collaborate—from early planning and creative alignment to on-site production and flow—offering a unique opportunity to learn directly from industry leaders and elevate both their imagery and client experience.
